Face your fears (a must read)

Now I've seen alot of artist paint metallic and shiny surfaces as if it were easy, and the truth is, it is easy because as a beginner artist alot of them would want to look at the entire piece as a whole instead of looking at the big shapes cut into smaller shapes. Now what I mean is, don't look at the complexity of the entire piece instead as an artist try to find a more easy approach by breaking down and simplifying the whole piece... Now looking at this piece what I basically did was, use a medium hard brush to paint in the environment directly on top the armour. At first it doesn't make sense but as you start going in with more details everything will eventually get in place and you'll have a more clear vision of what you're working on. Don't worry people, I'll make a full tutorial on this so that y'all will understand better. Stay tuned.
