First Chrome 80s effect

Now this was difficult, it's an old design from about a year or so. I saw this text design on a music cover design and wanted to try it out, though I had zero knowledge on now to tackle this, so I did my usuals, headed to YouTube and started looking for videos. Little did I know most of this chrome 80s text effect were done with Photoshop. But that can't stop me right??...

  I looked for a way to replicate it with the software I usually use. And boom I got this amazing text effect, really trust the process.
